INFO & RETURNS
SHIPPING LIABILITY
Pursuant to Article 63 of the Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the consumer when the latter physically takes possession of the goods.
However, if the Customer:
- autonomously selects a shipping method
- explicitly chooses uninsured shipping
the following applies:
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CLAUSE
In case of uninsured shipping:
- JPYCollectibles declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to the package
- no refund or compensation will be due
- any claims must be addressed directly to the carrier pursuant to Articles 1693 et seq. of the Civil Code
Art. 1693 c.c. – Carrier's Liability
The carrier is liable for the loss and damage of the goods delivered to him.
The choice of uninsured shipping constitutes express acceptance of the risk by the Customer.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, the consumer Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery.
The right of withdrawal:
- applies exclusively to consumers
- does not apply to subjects with a VAT number who purchase for professional purposes (Article 3 of the Consumer Code)
RETURN POLICY
The right applies to the purchased product in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdrawal only on a part of the purchased product.
The purchased item must be intact and returned in its original packaging, complete in all its parts – including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment. To limit damage to the original packaging, it is mandatory to place it in a second box.
In all cases, the affixing of labels or adhesive tape directly on the original product packaging must be strictly avoided.
Shipping, until the confirmed receipt in our warehouse, is under the complete responsibility of the customer.
In case of damage to the goods during transport, JPYCollectibles will notify the customer of the incident, to allow them to promptly file a complaint against the courier they chose and obtain a refund of the value of the goods.
In this event, the product will be made available to the customer for its return, simultaneously canceling the withdrawal request.
JPYCollectibles is not responsible in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned with uninsured shipments.
The refund is normally made within 4 weeks of the successful return, starting from the moment the package is delivered to the appointed Courier.
The refund, if requested by the customer for reasons not related to damage and/or errors by JPYCOLLECTIBLES S.R.L. will not include shipping costs.
The time calculated this way takes into account the time needed for us to receive the return from the appointed Courier, to process the received return, and to obtain clearance from the customer's bank, depending on the bank.
The product return procedure can be carried out by sending a withdrawal request via email to jpycollectibles@gmail.com indicating the reason, bank details for the refund, and a copy of the order.
Once the return is accepted, communication will be sent to the customer who must return the goods at their own expense to the address indicated by JPYCollectibles via email.
REFUNDS
Pursuant to Article 56 of the Consumer Code:
- The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving the return, subject to verification of the integrity of the goods
- Initial shipping costs are not refundable, unless the error is attributable to the seller
The refund may be suspended until receipt of the goods or proof of shipment.
